ELA HOMEWORK: Complete phonics practice page 18 and
recite -ed word family flashcards.
SCIENCE: Ask your child, “What is the first thing that
caterpillars eat when they hatch?”
(their shell, then they eat leaves)

SOCIAL STUDIES: Ask your child, “How do people get
food on the farm? (they grow it) How do people
get food in the city? (grocery stores or restaurants)

ELA HOMEWORK: practice page 17
SCIENCE: Ask your child, “How do caterpillars move?”
(They have 16 legs and they stretch their front legs
out and then move their back legs to their front
legs so that their back arches.)
